The Mechanical interface is graphically intensive. Incompatibility with your GPU drivers is the #1 cause of "ansyswbu.exe" crashes.
Ensure the drive containing your "Project Scratch" directory has at least 50–100GB of free space for large models.
Sometimes the saved "view" or window layout of Mechanical gets corrupted.
