Based on a popular webtoon, Summer Strike follows the journey of (played by Kim Seol-hyun), a 28-year-old woman overwhelmed by her career and personal tragedies. After her mother passes away and her boyfriend breaks up with her, she decides to "go on strike" from her own life. She moves to a quiet seaside village called Angok with nothing but a backpack, intending to do absolutely nothing.
