Offline activation is a fail-safe for workstations without internet access. Instead of the software "calling home" to a server, it generates a unique based on your hardware. You then provide an Activation Code to unlock the features. Step 1: Disable Security and Internet
Paste the Activation Code back into the software’s activation screen. In many cases, there will be 16 input boxes; the code will fill these automatically when you paste into the first box. Click or Activate .
For the generator to communicate correctly with the software's internal licensing service, you must:
Launch the software. It will tell you that activation is required.
You should see a message saying "Successfully patched." If you do not do this, the activation code generated in the next step will return an "Invalid Code" error. Step 4: Generating the Activation Code Once the software is installed and the patch is applied:
Paste the Request Code into the field of the X-Force tool. Click Generate . Copy the resulting string from the Activation field. Step 5: Finalizing Activation
Pull your Ethernet cable or disable Wi-Fi. This forces the software to offer the "Offline" option.
